Now, looking at all the above pictures, can you tell me what are the similarities in those shoes? Just a very simple observation I need here. Not much of brain-cracking-figure-out-logic-concept though.
Yes. All of them are flats. I only owned one pathetic heels which I bought during the last raya. I don't owned a cupboard of shoes, reason being, I'm a big foot and finding shoes for me can be tortourous. Shoes that I can fit into are the designer brand in which I will never, not even once, splurge on. What I owned here are 2 pairs of Crocs Mary Jane Sandals, Puma covered shoes and 2 owned painted shoes. So on Tuesday, i went to school with my newest painted shoe, the one with the paw prints together with black pants and purple kurta. Sporty it is as there's PE. The boys were playing soccer and the girls were busy tailing me everywhere I went. I cleaned the car porch area and the girls offered their help. I build the fallen tepee and the volunteered to hold the poles for me. I arranged the slides at the playgorund area, and the girls gave me my towel to wipe off my perspire. Finally, the girls decided to settle down and play masak-masak.
I was sitting down with them. The boys asked me to play along with them but I can't cos I can hear myself wheezing already. I had to give it a pass. I sat beside Tohfah and pretended to fry egg with the girls. And out sudden, a very fun convo started.
Tohfah: Eh Teacher Nurul, you never wear heels eh?
Me: I don't like. why?
Tohfah: No la. I only see you wear boy's shoe. You girl what.
Me: No. This is unisex shoes. Boys, girls, can put on this shoes.
Tohfah: But wear heels nicer. Do you know I have heels?
Me: Ohh really?
Tohfah: Yes. Real ones ok. Not bluff bluff one.
Me: Got bluff bluff heels?
Tohfah: Barbie heels is the bluff bluff one la.
Me: Ohh really? (shocked..)
Tohfah: U ni Teacher Nurul. sigh..
And then they continued playing as the Datin-Datin. I smiled. I couldn't bring myself in by being a Datin myself. I can't help myself from chuckling each time they call me Datin Nur instead of Teacher Nurul. In the end, I had to surrender and join the boys playing "What time is it Mr Werewolf..?"
