Soul, heart, and body, we thus singly name,
Are not in love divisible and distinct,
But each with each inseparably linked.
One is not honour, and the other shame,
But burn as closely fused as fuel, heat, and flame.
They do not love who give the body and keep
The heart ungiven; nor they who yield the soul,
And guard the body. Love doth give the whole;
Its range being high as heaven, as ocean deep,
Wide as the realms of air or planet's curving sweep.

i threw something precious away yesterday. at the boat quay when i was wit my tekdee. it was with me for more than 4 years. never was once i remove it. it was something that is soooo precious to me but not worth keeping it.

what was it u ask?

the ring that my ex boyfriend azmy gave.

i was a bit emotional after i threw it away. i just cant believe what i just did. and i am proud of myself for doing it. finally i pluck up the courage to do something in which i never dare to do before this.

why i do it u ask me?

like i said earlier. y bother keeping something which is no more worth of having it. the person who gave it to me might have chucked it somewhere, n me the fool here still have it on my finger. ridiculous rite. so i decided to throw it away, with all the memories and start a new fresh one wit tek.

if u were to look closely at my finger, it still have the bekas n it looked awful. ape taknya, for almost 4 yrs plus, i din remove it. ive been wearing it since. now my fingers look plain. *look at tek*

wo ai ni. *smiles*

A student asked his teacher: What is love?

The teacher answered: In order to answer your question, go to the paddy field and choose the biggest paddy and come back. But the rule is, you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.

The student went to the field and went through the first row. He saw one big paddy, but he wondered, maybe there is a bigger one later. He saw a bigger one, but maybe there is an even bigger one waiting for him. Later, after he went through more than half of the paddy field, he started to realize that the paddy is not as big as the previous ones he saw. He knew he had missed the biggest one, and he regretted it. He ended up going back to the teacher with empty hands.

The teacher told him: This is love. You keep looking for a better one, but when you realize you have already missed the one for you, it is too late.

The student asked: What is marriage then?

The teacher said: In order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is, you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.

The student went to the corn field, this time he was careful not to repeat the previous mistake. When he reached the middle of the field, he picked one medium corn he felt satisfied with, and came back to the teacher.

The teacher told him: This time you brought back a corn. You looked for one that is just nice, which you have faith in, and stick with it with the belief that this is the best one for you. That is marriage.

Hmm... so many talks about love. Okay people, get back to your work now! Please take note that this post is not meant to encourage you to fall in love or whatsoever. Simply a reminder for us to accept readily what has been bestowed upon us. (:
